Uniting Our Voices for Action

2017 Asian Educators Alliance
National Conference
March 25-26, 2017

Registration is Closed

Welcome to the seventh Asian Educators Alliance National Conference! Last year, we were excited to revive the AsEA Conference and hope to bring the renewed sense of purpose and energy to this year’s version. The AsEA Conference focuses on creating a space for API (Asian/Pacific Islander) educators from across the country to both celebrate our place in the educational sphere and also address the structural, cultural, and institutional challenges that we encounter in our schools and communities. This year, we are offering an even wider range of speakers, panels, workshops, and breakout sessions, all from the core theme of “Uniting Our Voices for Action.” For us, this is a logical extension of last year’s theme, “From Self to Solidarity.” Our goal for the 2017 conference is to build on that solidarity to take action as a more united front in order to better support both our student and educator communities. Further, we want to empower both our individual and collective voices and reflect on ways to subsequently catalyze meaningful change in ourselves, our communities, and beyond.

We hope to see you in San Francisco!
